DAY ONE 

Arrive and transfer to Jerusalem hotel; check in and freshen up. 

 

4:00 pm: An optional outing to Shalva (The Association for Mentally & Physically Challenged Children in Israel) providing a wonderful opportunity for teen-agers and young adults to connect with a charitable organization in Israel.

 

SHALVA is built upon a foundation of love, hope, faith and respect. The organization provides services to more than 500 participants with special needs, including infants, children, adolescents and young adults via a plethora of tailored programs and round-the-clock therapies, seven days a week. SHALVA accompanies the child and his/her family from birth to adulthood. Individual programs are designed so that each participant reaches his/her full potential. By placing an emphasis on social interaction, the child with special needs can better integrate into the community.

DAY TWO

Breakfast at the hotel; check out and head to the Dead Sea via the Judean Desert 

Be prepared for an afternoon on the trails; unbelievable scenery lies ahead

 

The landscape, climate conditions and water sources at the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve have created a unique ecosystem of springs, waterfalls and pools surrounded by lush greenery in a desolate desert setting. We will have the opportunity to hike up to and cool off in the refreshing pools and waterfalls of the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. 

 

Check into your hotel. Time to relax.

DAY THREE

Another full morning hike with a picnic Lunch en route

Late afternoon, time to relax, float in the Dead Sea and use hotel’s Spa

 

At 1,300 feet below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth. But you can make this visit a high point by venturing into the waters for a “float,” swimming suspended by the high concentrations of salts and minerals.

DAY FOUR

Short hike which will be an invigorating experience for all.

DAY FIVE and SIX

Enjoy 2 days of guided challenging hikes in the stunning Red Mountains of Eilat; climb using ropes and ladders for some serious adrenalin rushes

DAY SEVEN

Breakfast at the hotel and check out

Head north to Mitzpe Ramon for some mountain biking adventure or relax at your magnificent hotel at the crater's edge.

 

Ramon Crater is the largest erosion crater in the world. It spans for 40 km, its width is 9 km and its depth is approximately 300 meter. It's definitely the most interesting landscape in the Negev desert!

DAY EIGHT

Continue north to Tel Aviv

DAY NINE

Jaffa is a beautiful city rich with historical and cultural significance. Its strategic hilltop location and natural harbor rendered it a contested place since Biblical times. It was from Jaffa that Jonah set sail for Nineveh, prior to his fateful encounter with the whale.
